The Writer

My name is Garrett Baylie, I am the writer for SideSlingers. I am currently a business student at the University of Missouri, Columbia. I am a Chief's season ticket holder and am at most if not all home games during a regular season. I have been a die-hard Chiefs, Royals, and Mizzou fan my entire life. I also root for the OKC Thunder for basketball and the San Jose Sharks for Hockey. Though my degree is not currently focused on journalism or broadcasting, I've been interested in the career path my entire life. I was a color commentator for Lee's Summit West high school football and the main sports editor. I enjoy hiking, running, going to the gym, and playing a multitude of sports in my free time. I also love sports statistics including the odd ones and I am currently going for my sports statistics certification at Mizzou as well.
